At some point, customers making purchases from e-commerce solutions developed by Amphitheatre, will have their email address collected. The customer will be asked if they want to receive Emails or Newsletters from your website (they have to positively opt in to receive them).

Now that you have your customers email address how are you going to send them an email or Newsletter?
As a plug-in to Ease Commerce CMS we have the Ease Commerce Campaign Trailblazer. Integrating with your CMS system and accessing the same database of your customers records, the Campain Trailblazer, permits you to effortlessly generate template driven HTML emails, incorporating images of your products, and send them to your customers automatically.
Accessing your customer database means no need to download CSV files with your full unfiltered list of customers, importing them into a third party application before processing your campaign. The Campaign Trail Blazer has an advanced search facility that enables you to select a "segment" of your customers to target your campain towards, based on their previous buying activity. You will then not send information about products to customers who have already bought them, which as we all know can be annoying to receive.
The Campaign Trailblazer will keep a record of each email sent, it will provide statistics on how many customers viewed the emails and which products they most responded to, and how successful that campaign was in terms of revenue generated.
The Ease Commerce Campaign Trailblazer requires additional bespoke development for each client because the email templates need to be unique to each clien't needs and is required to reflect in look and feel your Amphitheatre e-commerce website. This requires a web developer to manually enhance every deployment of the application.
In addition, as part of your Amphitheatre e-commerce website you will have identified which information you want to capture about your customers. Perhaps gender or age. These factors can be built into your Trailblazer application to allow you to further filter your campaign "segment".
